Volvo – original late 1960s/ 1970s black vitreous enamel badge with loss of some plating remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Volvo keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

An original Volvo keyfob badge which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in ‘vintage’ full grain black leather .

The vitreous enamel badge has lost some of the nickel plating from the face of the badge as can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

A few years ago a badge in this condition would have been considered unsaleable but attitudes have changed dramatically and many owners now prefer a keyring with a badge which has ‘ had a life ‘ as this one obviously has  done.

Importantly the vitreous enamel is completely intact without any chips or damage .

This badge has almost become a ‘ road warrior ‘ – just think of the tales it could tell of it’s journeys !

Now ready to continue it’s journey for many years to come safely mounted onto a brand new leather keyfob .
