Wolseley - original vintage 1950s key clasp

An original Wolseley key clasp which will have been produced in the mid to late 1950s.

We have just this one key clasp to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This Wolseley key clasp is in very good condition with a gilt plated vitreous enamel badge and sprung key clasp mounted onto the badge .

The legs of the clasp are sprung mounted and are removed from the badge as shown in the final photo to allow the car key(s) to be fitted .

Key clasps and key chains were the very first car keyrings which were ever produced – we have never seen any for any make of vehicle that are older.

They preceded the keyrings with leather keyfobs which started to make an appearance in the very late 1950s.

This key clasp would have been originally for use with any mid 1950s Wolseley motor car .
