Yamaha – original early 1970s vitreous enamel on gilt badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Yamaha keyfob badge which will have been produced in the early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one keyring to offer – when this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

An original c. 50 year old Yamaha vitreous enamel keyfob badge with gilt plating which is in excellent condition but really looks it’s age .

These old gilt badges tend to ‘mellow’ – as this one has done – to give an aged appearance whilst remaining in excellent condition.

The gilt will polish up further with metal polish but we prefer to leave them as they are including the back of the badge which bears the inscription ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’

What an irony when these bikes together with other Japanese bikes were the ruin of the British Motorcycle Industry !

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide and have fitted a splitring with bronze plating to match the finish on the badge .

This badge is original & correct for use with any 1960s or 1970s Yamaha motorcycle.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
