An original Yamaha keyring dating from the late 1960s – how many more of these will have survived ??
The keyring is new old stock and in excellent condition with a vitreous enamel gilt badge mounted onto a genuine black leather keyfob.
This is an original example of the keyrings which were actually being used on the bikes in the late 1960s/ early 1970s – a very rare survivor as almost all of the original keyrings from that time have by now been lost or discarded.
Open motorcycles used in all weathers are not the best environment for preserving a leather keyring.
At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars & bikes were made in England – it was quite an industry- ‘British Made’ proudly represented on the back of the badge ironically for one of the motorcycles which spelled the doom of The British motorcycle industry.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive- a superb historical Yamaha item.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
